Originally designed for the US Armed Forces to meet the challenges of successful IV access in stressful environments with challenging patients, the BOA Constricting IV Band by North American Rescue has become a critical component of successful IV cannulation in the tactical medical field.

For improved central venous access every time, the BOA ?uses a rolling action to transfuse venous blood to the distal veins while still allowing arterial flow. For maximum effect, the BOA is placed as high up on the extremity as allowable. This technique decreases time on task for treating combat casualties, civilian trauma patients, or medical patients with poor vascular access (for example, diabetic wound care).

The Polycarbonate Eye Shield is an integral part of any medical kit we design for our friends who work in professions where eye trauma is a possibility.

It meets current military and civilian pre-hospital guidelines for the treatment of traumatic eye injury in the field. This convex rigid eye shield allows the user to protect the injured eye and blocks external pressure from being applied directly to the injury, preventing further damage. This bandage was purposely designed for the Pressure Immobilisation Technique (PIT), which is used for the treatment of all Australian Snake and Funnel Webbed Spider bites, Blue Ringed Octopus and Cone Shell sting.

The AeroForm Snakebite Bandage is 10cm wide and longer (3.5M) than most crepe or elastic bandages. This bandage stretches to an incredible 10m which is sufficient length to bandage a large adult leg. The unique stitching technology ensures the correct pressure is evenly applied to the entire limb. Both of these requirements are a must for the effective treatment of snakebite.
