SOF Tactical Tourniquet for surfing

Great product, easy to use (test scenario only, not in an emergency yet) I surf by myself early mornings at a point on a remote beach that I have to walk 5km to get to. I keep it in my wetsuit so I have access to it in the water either for myself or someone else if needed. I reckon every surfer should have one in their board bag.

Grate kit. Only issue was it didn’t come in a vacuum seal bag like it did in the photos. It would of made it more convenient to store in a medkit as well in a vacuum sealed bag

I like that this product is in a vacuum sealed pack. This ensures that items can't be robbed from the kit and it is complete if/when it is required.

Essential, just short of perfect

The only thing that lets down this kit is the shears. As they're part of the first stage of patient assessment,they're also the first critical fail point. They MAY be OK for thin single layers, (t-shirts etc) but not much else. Most likely break in the prosess of accessing the wound site. Forget denim jeans, motorcycle apparel or seatbelt or ballistic armour webbing. Fortunately, I've broken them during training and going for my Xshears has got me through assessment. Obviously included to maintain an affordable point, the shears feel flimsy, can be difficult to use if wearing field gloves or the operator's hands are anything more than a medium size Grumbles aside, the rest of the kit is a solid package.

Great product and service

Very impressed with the service and delivery of the aquatic trauma kits we purchased. I especially like the QR code that is featured on the kits that takes you to a training video on how to use the torniquet. Brilliant! I also like how the kits are vacuum packed. I hope to never have the need to use this product however this kit is so small to carry with you on a boat or hiking for that matter . As a scuba diver I feel that I should be able to help others around me or even myself. AQUATIC TRAUMA KIT

Bought this kit about a week ago for the wife to have in her car. Was the best fit kit that was available at the time. Very happy with the quality of kit and how it was packed, very compact. If not needing a specific aquatic based kit then would recommend the newly released Bleeding control kit. Received exactly what was listed with a great delivery time frame.
