The LifePak CR2 Training System realistically simulates the operations of a LifePak CR2 AED with voice prompts, audible alerts, and readiness display features. The AED Trainer guides the user through simulated heart rhythm analysis, simulated shock prompts and therapy delivery.

The unit comes in a soft carry bag and utilizes easily accessible and replaceable D size batteries. The pads also have a built in sensor for maximum realism when training with the unit. Pads are a consumable item and can be easily replaced if they wear over time.

The HeartSine Samaritan 500P trainer is ideal for use by both training organisations for CPR and defibrillator training as well as by organisations that have adopted the Samaritan 500P defibrillator and would like a training device of their own. With remote control for simple operation of CPR prompts, as well as the most inexpensive replacement training pads – don’t be caught out by alternatives that cost you a lot in the long term in consumables.

The design of the samaritan PAD Trainer mirrors the live device in order to ensure greater user retention and system familiarity. As such, the PAD Trainer is easy to use, allowing the trainer the maximum time possible to focus on the learning needs of the group. The Trainer, which is compatible with any CPR manikin system, provides six pre-recorded rescue training scenarios without delivering an actual shock.

Realistic Training Demonstration and Superior Retention. Voice and visual prompts and CPR coaching match those of the HeartSine samaritan PAD defibrillator. Likewise, size and shape are the same; however, unique labeling and membrane color prevent inadvertent use in an actual emergency.

CPR Advisor. The samaritan PAD 500P Trainer includes CPR Advisor which uses an Impedance Cardiogram (ICG) to assess the effectiveness of the CPR and give the rescuer feedback on compressions based on actual cardiac output: “Push Harder,” “Push Faster,” “Push Slower” or reassurance that they are performing “Good Compressions.” (Available on Samaritan PAD 500P Trainer.)

Appropriate for All Skill Levels. The Trainer can be used by businesses to train employee first responders on the use of the HeartSine samaritan PAD. In addition, it meets the needs of professional trainers, either teaching first-time lay users or refreshing experienced emergency responders.

Cost-Effective. The Trainer is powered by a rechargeable battery. Electrode pads are cost-effective and reusable, and mimic the Pad-Pak™ battery/pad cartridge unique to the HeartSine samaritan PAD defibrillator.
