QuikClot Combat Gauze is an advanced hemostatic agent used by military professionals, first responders, and emergency medical teams to control severe bleeding in trauma patients. Its unique formulation promotes rapid clotting, stopping blood loss and stabilizing patients for further treatment.
QuikClot Combat Gauze is a sterile, 3 in. x 4 yds. (7.5cm x 3.7m) Z-folded, nonwoven gauze with X-ray indicator, and is impregnated with kaolin, an inorganic mineral that activates Factor XII, which in turn accelerates the body's natural clotting ability. This bleeding control solution creates a robust clot to control bleeding fast potentially giving you more time to attend to other tasks as you move patients through the continuum of care.

I am fully aware of how these are thought of, however I will not know until the Chinese start sending missiles into the Sunshine coast or I am involved in civilian trauma. I expect the former to be more likely but think we have at least 12 months to read up and watch videos to support recent training. Tongue in cheek, finger on trigger. Only joking but as a nurse I expect the **** to hit the fan sooner than later.
