It has all the great features of the Gen 6 C.A.T but has added features including the NEW Single Routing Buckle for faster application, decreased blood loss, effective slack removal, fewer windlass turns, and simplified training with single protocol application standards
The C-A-T is a small and lightweight arterial tourniquet that completely occludes blood flow in an extremity. Used for the treatment of life-threatening bleeding, the C-A-T Tourniquet uses a Self-Adhering Band and a Friction Adaptor Buckle to fit a wide range of extremities combined with a one-handed windlass system. The C-A-T Tourniquet also has a Hook-and-Loop Windlass Strap for further securing of the windlass during patient transport.
Note - Blue colour option is traditionally used as a training version.

Combat Gauze
It’s expensive. Delivery time was fast. Because i only just received it and have been asked multiple times for a review, I have only these comments to offer.

Great kit supply.
I am fully aware of how these are thought of, however I will not know until the Chinese start sending missiles into the Sunshine coast or I am involved in civilian trauma. I expect the former to be more likely but think we have at least 12 months to read up and watch videos to support recent training. Tongue in cheek, finger on trigger. Only joking but as a nurse I expect the **** to hit the fan sooner than later.

Quikclot
Price is always worth the lifesaving capacity provided by haemostatic gauze, this is a very high quality and proven product.

Gauze
High quality product and best practice product for wound packing.

Quickclot
Great price. Hopefully will not need to use it.

Community Trauma kit
Absolutely perfect, and great quality gear that can be hard to come by in aus.

Excellent Kit
The bag itself is well constructed. Contents are adequate for most situations. Snake bite bandage is a plus.

Outstanding Service
Outstanding experience, very fast delivery and the perfect kit for the motorbike!

Great kit for every day carry.
This is the second kit I have purchased. I wanted a kit to carry on my motorbike. I have panniers so space wasn’t an issue and wanted to carry a little more than the motorbike kit. (Still have look after boo boos). My first one usually resides for easy access in my work vehicle while a larger kit is in the back. I carry this on my belt while conducting chainsaw training or throw it in a day back when travelling.

Better than standard kit
I've been using a standard first aid kit for bushwalking. This is much better suited to emergency trauma situations in remote locations. Well worth the effort to grab one.

Best "bang for buck" around
After a lot of hunting around I found this to be the best "bang for buck" bleeding control kit around. There are some around that are less expensive but I either didn't think the contents were as well chosen or of as good a quality, or the pouch was larger & more cumbersome.
