The SAM Junctional Tourniquet (SJT) for haemorrhage control is designed to control bleeding where standard tourniquets would not be effective, such as severe wounds to?the high upper leg, and time is of the essence. It is compact, easy to use (only four steps), and quick to apply (typically under 25 seconds). The Target Compression Device (TCD) is placed at or near the injury site and pumped up until the bleeding stops. Two TCDs can be used to occlude blood flow bilaterally if needed. The rugged design ensures that the device stays firmly attached to the patient during transport. Designed to exceed MIL-STD-810g requirements.

The Patented SAM? AUTOSTOP buckle acts to ensure all slack is removed prior to TCD inflation. Once optimal compressive force is reached, two prongs activate, clicking to confirm correct application. The buckle is secured in place with its Velcro? system strap

Tacmed's Active Shooter Mass Casualty Kit, or 'ARK Bag', is designed for immediate response to a major incident with multiple casualties. 

The pack can be carried or worn as a back pack and features mirrored equipment on each side of the pack as well as 10x individually packed Tacmed Immediate Trauma Kits down the centre.
