Very rapid delivery.
I haven't, as yet, had call to use this in a real situation but in practice with several people of differing heights (160cm - 190cm) I've been very impressed with this product- it's compact, light weight, easily adjustable and easy to use.
Intuitive and easy to use. The fine adjustment pull toggle makes it very easy to gauge the amount of tension applied, and is very secure when fitted. It bundles into a fairly compact carry case too.
The advanced design of the Shlishman traction splint results in the distal end of the splint not extending past the Pts heel, as is the case with most traction splints. This enables carers to place the patient in a litter for extrication and/or transport without conflict between the litter and the splint. This results in increased Pt comfort and reduced demand for analgesia.
