COMBAT APPLICATION TOURNIQUET (CAT) G7
The CAT (Combat Application Tourniquet) is a small and lightweight arterial tourniquet that completely occludes blood flow in an extremity. Used for the treatment of life-threatening bleeding, the C.A.T Tourniquet uses a Self-Adhering Band and a Friction Adaptor Buckle to fit a wide range of extremities combined with a one-handed windlass system. The windlass uses a free moving internal band to provide true circumferential pressure to an extremity. The windlass is then locked in place; this requires only one hand, with the Windlass Clip. The C.A.T Tourniquet also has a Hook-and-Loop Windlass Strap for further securing of the windlass during patient transport.

Purchased two (2). One is none, two is one. Part of my IFAK. Hoping I won't have to use it/them. Some may question a TQ in civvie street, chances of coming across a vehicle accident, or, down at the beach a shark attack. Be prepared.

This product is probably the best on the market right now. No Shellfish, which caters for the unknowns in a high pressure life saving situation. I used it recently in training for wound packing in a moulage scenario and it excells. Must keep pressure for a minimum of two minutes after packing wound. Used by the ADF in TNG and OPS.

Superb quality and a good combination of items, although the addition of a set of trauma shears would add some capability, but detract from the compactness. Apart from the shears it’s perfect for an individual to carry against the contingency of trauma. Perhaps a SORD IFAK 2 molle column pouch could be considered as part of the package.

This handy pouch contains the essentials for haemorrhage control - a SOFT-T tourniquet and an OLAES bandage, along with thermal blanket, trauma shears and nitrile gloves. We’ve been placing these in some designated cabinets along with Public Access Defibs as part of the @HeartSafeKI initiative (shark nibbles have occurred here on Kangaroo Island, so placing a bleeding kit near surf spots seemed sensible) We’re also looking at placing them in our Sandpiper Bags for rural clinicians. Good kit, recommend. As always, excellent customer service from Jeremy and the TacMed crew...

AustraliaGreat kit for 1-2 people in trauma setting.
Its perfect for personal use in a trauma setting. I had to recently use it on someone who fell down the stairs. My suggestion is maybe a kit that bridges the gap between this small personal one and multi-cas. Perhaps a slightly larger medium trauma kit that includes this plus another compartment of an extra roller bandage, more combines/non-stick dressings, as I find open wounds more frequent than fractures.

The Aquatic Trauma Kit (ATK) has been developed using products tried and tested on the battlefields of Iraq & Afghanistan.
Used in the treatment of life-threatening bleeding in an aquatic environment, the Aquatic Trauma Kit can be used as a stand-alone kit or as a supplemental kit to standard first aid kits.
A casualty with major injuries (ie Shark Bite or Boat Propellor Injury) can bleed out in minutes if not treated quickly and effectively. Most conventional first aid kits do not have the appropriate equipment for controlling life-threatening bleeding and this is where the ATK comes in....
The Aquatic Trauma Kit comes complete with a large military style trauma dressing, an arterial tourniquet for life-threatening limb bleeds, an emergency blanket for the prevention of hypothermia and gloves and resuscitation face shield for personal protection.

I hope to never have the need to use this product however this kit is so small to carry with you on a boat or hiking for that matter . As a scuba diver I feel that I should be able to help others around me or even myself. AQUATIC TRAUMA KIT
Bought this kit about a week ago for the wife to have in her car. Was the best fit kit that was available at the time. Very happy with the quality of kit and how it was packed, very compact. If not needing a specific aquatic based kit then would recommend the newly released Bleeding control kit. Received exactly what was listed with a great delivery time frame.
