Overall, sturdy construction pocket top closure keeps items secure even in the most demanding situations, don't have to think "did something fall out" well designed, fits well even with ankle high boots, fits well with standard width security law enforcement pants, good concealment. narrow fit pants will not conceal well, just by the fact you have a kit there, not a design flaw, have used for two weeks now, comfortable during ten-hour high mobility shifts, does not impede exit/entering vehicles. accessing kit requires trouser leg to be lifted but not difficult to do during a situation/incident. Stays firmly attached when contents removed. Simple quick and convenient. unlike other models. Overall, much more functional/ user friendly and preferred over cheaper versions (AMK).
Yes it does say snakebite kit but this would do well in all sorts of first aid senarios too. I carry one on MTB rides as a bit of an all round bit of kit. Best thing is it’s sealed up so it’s not going to get all soggy and manky after 6 months in a pack or bag.
An absolute wonderful piece of kit!!!! Will definitely source gear from these guys again. It's like you read my mind on what should be in a kit! Paulatim!
The tourniquet is mostly well made but the buckle is already rusting after it got wet on a camping trip. It's less than 2 months old. The aluminium windlass and the band feel very sturdy but the plastic c-shaped clip is flimsy. I ordered the SOFTT instead of the CAT because I expected it to be more durable, but the CAT might have been the better choice if there is a risk of it getting wet.
As always great service and comunication. Med supplies is not where i want to cut cost and the quality of the stock and the quality from TacMed cant be beat.
I have been volunteering years the is best kit on the market great size I’m really happy with it
I purchased three for family members - clearly all the items are of superior quality, sourced by professionals.
Certainly not a typical 'First Aid' company or sub standard generic products. Backed by people that have used such items in austere environments.
As a former army CFA found this to be a really well-stocked kit combined with small size.
Have used in a variety of situations from burns to cuts.
Bought one for each car. Check out the contents.
Recommend.
Really like the SLSC kit now available in a reliable bag option. Gave me the chance to open the kit and take the plastic cover off the included tourniquet and seal it back up ready for use.
The resealable bag is a thick plastic that gives you reassurance of keeping your kit dry and secure.
Buy it, train, carry it like your life depends on it.
A great bit of kit. Fluoro orange, so I know exactly where to find it.. with TQ's one is none and two is one. I'll be ordering a second. Great quality and a legitimate product supplied.
Bought the Aquatic Trauma Kit for spearfishing; it gives me confidence that an emergency can be dealt with. Suggest a small carry pack to bundle the kit would be useful.
The tension indicators take the guesswork out of applying the immobilisation bandages
Did a routine review of the Home First Aid kit (old habits die hard). Updated any expired medicine & bandages. Then used a frame braking change model to seriously upgrade the kit with appropriate gear - like a tourniquet from SOF, blood clot gear and some flash shears. Once done, it was time to do the vehicle kit to the same standards (plus the old car kit went to Dad's car). The cool thing is this vehicle kit did all the hard work for me. All neatly labelled. All logically set out. Wish I'd seen something like this earlier.
Well made and holds all the kit I need in an easily accessible and orderly way. I have had no issues with this aid belt and see it lasting a long time
