OUR MISSION

Zero Preventable Deaths

Why TacMed Is the Most Trusted Supplier of Tactical Medical Gear in Australia

When lives are on the line, you need gear that works — gear that’s been tested, proven, and trusted by those who save lives every day. At TacMed, our mission has never changed: Zero Preventable Deaths at the Point of Injury.

Our Story: From the Frontline to TacMed

Fifteen years ago, our founder Jez was fresh out of the Army, having served seven years as a medic before becoming an Intensive Care Paramedic. During his deployment, he and his team were constantly begging and borrowing gear — often waiting weeks for modern equipment to arrive from overseas. He knew there had to be a better way. That idea became TacMed.

From a spare room startup, TacMed has grown into a national team of experts: 15 full-time staff and a network of over 120 instructors, paramedics, and doctors. But the mission remains the same — to ensure the right gear and training are in the right hands, when it matters most.

Professional Gear. Proven Results.

We've earned over 1,600 five-star reviews because we don't mess around with gear that looks good but fails when you need it. We've built our reputation on one simple principle: if we wouldn't trust it with our own lives, we don't sell it. That's why paramedics, tactical teams, and rescue crews across Australia trust us with their emergency preparedness.

Built for Those Who Save Lives

TacMed exists to support professionals who operate in high-stakes, high-risk environments - from remote paramedics and rescue teams to military, mining, and outdoor professionals. Every product we stock is chosen through firsthand experience in high-risk environments, from military deployments to remote medical emergencies. We prioritise reliability, simplicity, and performance under pressure because when failure isn't an option, our gear delivers.
