Bushcraft Meets Medicine On The Coffs Coast

When you’re way out in the bush and facing a medical emergency, survival depends on skill - not luck. This November, TacMed Training and Bushcraft Survival Australia are joining forces to deliver the first Remote Casualty Care x Survival Essentials course on the beautiful Coffs Coast.

This immersive three-day experience combines BSA’s premier bushcraft expertise with TacMed Training’s nationally accredited emergency medical instruction - creating one of the most comprehensive remote preparedness programs in Australia.

Designed for those who work, travel, or operate in remote and high-risk environments, this course will prepare participants to manage real emergencies when help is hours (or even days) away.

Combining Bushcraft and Emergency Medicine

This unique collaboration blends the fieldcraft and survival mastery of Bushcraft Survival Australia with TacMed Training’s expert medical training for austere and operational environments. The result is a hands-on learning experience that builds confidence, composure, and capability to handle emergencies when resources are scarce and evacuation isn’t immediate.

Over three intensive days, participants develop practical survival and medical skills through realistic, scenario-based training.
