Realistic training starts with realistic casualties. This non-staining simulated blood concentrate from North American Rescue® Simulation is the preferred fluid for use with TOMManikin® simulators, NAR Simulation haemorrhage control part task trainers, and wearable wound simulators.

The concentrate requires dilution before use. At the recommended mix ratio of 60 ml of concentrate per 3.8 litres of water, a single 3.8 litre (1 gallon) container yields approximately 242 litres of simulated blood — making it an extremely cost-effective consumable for high-volume training programs.

The non-staining formula means less concern about equipment, clothing, and training environments, and more focus on running quality scenarios. It's designed to work within all applicable NAR Simulation systems, and is the recommended fluid for TOMManikin® haemorrhage control training.

  • Non-staining formula: Designed for use in training environments — reduces cleanup time and minimises damage to equipment, clothing, and surfaces.
  • High-yield concentrate: One 3.8 litre container yields (1 Gallon) approximately 242 litres of simulated blood at the recommended dilution ratio.
  • Simple mix ratio: 60 ml of concentrate per 3.8 litres of water — straightforward to prepare in the field or classroom.
  • Compatible with NAR Simulation systems: The preferred simulated blood for TOMManikin® simulators, haemorrhage control part task trainers, and wearable wound simulators.
  • Consumable for TCCC training: Supports realistic Tactical Combat Casualty Care (TCCC) scenarios from point of injury through to transfer of care.
  • Cost-effective for repeat use: High dilution ratio makes this practical for programs running frequent or high-volume training events.

What is this product used for?
It's a simulated blood concentrate designed for use in scenario-based trauma training. It's the preferred fluid for NAR Simulation TOMManikin® simulators, haemorrhage control part task trainers, and wearable wound simulators.

Does it need to be diluted before use?
Yes. This is a concentrate and must be diluted prior to use. Do not use undiluted. The recommended ratio is 60 ml of concentrate per 3.8 litres of water.

How much simulated blood does one container make?
At the recommended dilution ratio, one 3.8 litre container yields approximately 242 litres of simulated blood — enough for extensive high-volume training use.

Will it stain equipment or clothing?
No. The formula is non-staining, making it practical for use in classrooms, training facilities, and field environments where staining would be a concern.

Is it compatible with all NAR Simulation products?
It's compatible with all applicable NAR Simulation systems, and is specifically the recommended fluid for TOMManikin® simulators and NAR haemorrhage control task trainers and wearable wounds. Check your simulator's documentation if you're unsure about compatibility with a specific product.

How should it be stored?
Store as you would any liquid concentrate — in a cool, dry location, sealed when not in use. Refer to the product label for full storage and handling guidance.

What are the packaged dimensions and weight?
