The TraumaSim Malignancy – Fungating Silicone Wound is a high-fidelity, self-adhesive training aid designed to replicate the presentation of a fungating malignant wound for clinical, nursing, wound care, palliative care and patient assessment training.
Made from durable, life-like silicone, the wound supports realistic training in wound identification, clinical observation, dressing practice, communication and scenario-based education. Tapered edges help the wound blend onto a manikin or live role player, supporting a more realistic simulation environment.
The wound can be used in scenarios involving complex wound assessment, malignant wound care, palliative care education, nursing simulation, clinical documentation, patient communication and multidisciplinary care planning.
Learners can use the simulation to practise wound assessment, dressing selection, infection recognition, escalation, dignity-focused care and patient-centred communication in a safe, repeatable training environment.
All TraumaSim silicone wounds are self-adhesive, washable and reusable, making them suitable for repeated use in clinical and wound care training.
Available individually or as part of selected clinical and wound care kits, including the TraumaSim Clinical Various Range.
Please note: TraumaSim wounds are hand painted and individually trimmed, so minor variations in appearance and exact dimensions may occur. Listed dimensions relate to packaging and shipping only. The manikin shown in supplier imagery is not included.
