The TraumaSim Silicone Wound Kit — Military is a focused, combat-specific wound kit for tactical training environments that need high-fidelity ballistic and fragmentation trauma simulation without the overhead of a full moulage kit.
The kit contains six hand-painted, self-adhesive silicone wounds covering the injury types most relevant to military and tactical training scenarios: fragmentation wounds — single entry and spray pattern — and gunshot wounds across entry and exit presentations, including a 7.62 mm entry, tracking entry, small exit, and large exit. Each wound is manufactured from durable silicone with tapered edges that blend naturally onto skin, manikins, or role player garments for seamless, immersive presentation.
No moulage consumables are included — this kit is designed to complement existing setups or pair with Ben Nye stage blood and fresh scab for instructors who already have consumables on hand. For a complete out-of-the-box solution, see the Military Advanced Moulage Kit or Combat Trauma Moulage Kit.
All wounds are washable and reusable, supplied in a TraumaSim carry bag.
Available in multiple skin tones. Tone 01 Light is shown in product images and held in standard stock. Other tones are manufactured to order — contact TacMed Australia before ordering if a specific tone is required.

What wounds are included in this kit?
Six silicone wounds in total — two fragmentation wounds (single and spray pattern) and four gunshot wounds (7.62 mm entry, tracking entry, small exit, and large exit). See the full kit contents list above.
Does this kit include moulage consumables?
No. This kit contains silicone wounds and a carry bag only — no stage blood, scab, or makeup products are included. It's designed for programs that already have consumables on hand, or as a wound-only addition to an existing moulage setup. If you need a complete kit with consumables included, see the Military Advanced Moulage Kit or Combat Trauma Moulage Kit.
Are the wounds self-adhesive?
Yes. All silicone wounds are self-adhesive and designed to apply directly to skin, manikins, or role player garments without additional adhesive products.
How do the tapered edges work?
Each wound is manufactured with tapered silicone edges that feather into the surrounding surface, minimising visible borders and improving the realism of the overall presentation.
Are the wounds reusable?
Yes. All TraumaSim silicone wounds are washable and reusable, built to maintain appearance and adhesion across repeated training use.
What skin tones are available?
Tone 01 Light is held in standard stock. Other tones are manufactured to order — contact TacMed Australia before placing your order if a specific tone is required.
Can these wounds be used with stage blood?
Yes. For enhanced realism, TraumaSim recommends pairing silicone wounds with Ben Nye Stage Blood and Fresh Scab. These are available separately through TacMed Australia.
What are the dimensions and weight?
The kit measures 38 cm x 25 cm x 4 cm and weighs approximately 1 kg.
What training contexts is this kit suited to?
Military, Defence, tactical law enforcement, TCCC, emergency response, and any simulation environment where realistic ballistic and fragmentation wound presentation is part of the casualty profile.
