The Techline Trauma K9 Laceration Wound in a Box Simulator is a compact task trainer that combines a standard laceration wound simulator with a faux fur cover appliance for realistic service animal wound treatment practice.
Elastic straps allow easy installation and removal of the hand-washable fur appliance, supporting repeated use across training sessions. The underlying simulator is constructed from high-quality silicone rubber with layered colouration, consistent with the Techline Trauma Wounds in a Box series. This trainer enables handlers, tactical medics, and K9 unit personnel to practise laceration wound management on a realistic service animal presentation. The trainer comes in its own storage case.

What is the difference between the K9 GSW and K9 Laceration trainers?
Both use the same faux fur appliance system, but the underlying wound simulators differ - the K9 GSW replicates a puncture-style gunshot wound, while the K9 Laceration replicates a deep tissue laceration, presenting students with a different wound packing challenge.
Is a blood supply system included?
Blood supply systems are sold separately. The trainer can be used dry for wound packing practice, or connected to a blood supply system for active haemorrhage simulation.
Can the faux fur cover be replaced if damaged?
