What makes TrueClot® different from standard simulated blood systems?

What wound configurations are available?
GSW large calibre wound with bone, or knife/laceration wound. Select your preferred configuration at the time of order. Both models are included in light flesh and dark flesh tone — one of each per kit regardless of wound type selected.

Can both wound stations be run simultaneously?
Yes. The kit includes two complete wound model and bleeding bottle setups — two simultaneous training stations from a single kit, reducing session downtime and allowing side-by-side instructor observation.

How much simulated blood does the kit include?
Four TrueClot® Blood Simulant concentrate packs are included, each making 1 litre when mixed — 4 litres of simulated blood total. Two mixing and storage bottles are included for preparation and session management.

What training programs is this kit suited to?

Can the kit be run dry?
Yes. The wound models can be used without the bleeding system active for introductory technique familiarisation and dressing application practice. For full TrueClot® reactive clotting demonstration, the bleeding system needs to be active.

What are the replacement flow valves for?
The flow valves in the bleeding bottle system are consumable components that can wear with repeated use. Five replacement valves are included to maintain consistent fluid delivery across multiple training sessions without kit downtime.

What are the wound pan and underpad for?
The wound containment pans sit beneath the wound models during wet training sessions to capture blood simulant runoff — significantly reducing cleanup time and protecting surfaces. Absorbent underpads provide additional fluid management for the training area.
