Mission
Zero Preventable Deaths
We aim to provide the highest standard of emergency medical training and emergency equipment to first responders who work in high threat and complex environments.
The SOF® Tourniquet sets the standard for prehospital tourniquets, designed for rapid one-handed or two-handed application. Its reinforced, low-stretch polyester pressure band slides easily over limbs, while the quick-release buckle allows access to confined spaces or trapped limbs.
A patented indicator wedge beneath the windlass confirms when all slack is removed, ensuring effective use. The textured, aircraft-grade aluminium windlass locks securely using the Tri-Ring Lock™ and TRAC™ (Tourniquet Retention Assistance Clip).
This high-performance tourniquet is built for reliable haemorrhage control, suitable for both tactical and civilian first aid kits.
Yes, the SOF® Tourniquet is ideal for both professional responders and civilians. It offers fast, reliable haemorrhage control in all environments.
The wide band design reduces tissue damage and improves comfort, while also increasing pressure distribution to better control bleeding.
It’s intended for single-use in emergencies, but durable enough for training. Always inspect before and after use.
The patented indicator wedge shows when slack is removed, helping ensure proper application and effectiveness.
Yes, the compact design and detachable buckle make it effective in tight or restricted environments.

Thank you for the 5 stars! We are glad to hear that you are satisfied with the quality of our SOF® Tourniquet and our speedy delivery. We appreciate your support, John! Stay safe, Team TacMed
I used to run the CAT many moons ago, but I played with the SOF TQ Wide on the RCC. Now I have had time to play with it I was very comfortable after attending the Melb MLO. VERY HAPPY.
Highly recommend these, we use them at work and at least in training I've found them to be easy and simple to use. I've fitted it out in my hunting kit having seen some freak accidents involving sticks, antlers and hiking poles recently. Never leave home without one now.
