Bleeding is controlled via an included 500 ml squeezy bottle. To simulate arterial bleeding, the bottle can be pulsed to vary blood flow in response to applied pressure — giving trainees immediate, realistic feedback on whether their packing is achieving haemostasis. TraumaSim recommends using Ben Nye Stage Blood diluted at 1 part blood to 3 parts water for optimal performance.
