The TraumaSim 5 Litre Manual Pressure Pump is a replacement component for TraumaSim haemorrhage control and tourniquet training systems — keeping your ETT, Lifecast Arm, and Junctional Simulator performing consistently across repeated high-volume training use.
The pressure pump is the engine of the bleeding simulation system. It's what creates and maintains the arterial pressure that makes the ETT reactive — the bleed that only stops when tourniquet application is correct. Over time and with extended use, pump seals degrade and pressure integrity is lost. When that happens, bleeding simulation becomes inconsistent, the reactive occlusion feedback that defines the ETT training experience is compromised, and training outcomes suffer. Replacing the pump restores system performance to specification.
This is a direct replacement component — same 5 litre capacity, same 8mm flow control tap pre-attached, same pressure output as the pump supplied with new TraumaSim systems. Pre-attached tubing is included. Component colours may vary depending on stock availability.
Compatible with the Emergency Tourniquet Trainer (ETT001), Haemorrhage Control Simulator Lifecast Arm (HCS01), and Haemorrhage Control Simulator Junctional (HCS00).
For programs running the ETT Set of 4, note that the set includes a single pump distributed across all four units via adapters — a replacement pump using the same distribution system restores full four-unit operation.
- 1 x 5 Litre Manual Pressure Pump
- Pre-attached Tubing
- 8 mm Flow Control Tap (pre-attached)
- Direct replacement component: Restores consistent pressure performance to TraumaSim training systems that have experienced pump seal degradation with extended use.
- 5 litre capacity: Same specification as the pump supplied with new TraumaSim systems.
- 8mm flow control tap pre-attached: Ready to connect to your existing TraumaSim system without additional fitting.
- Pre-attached tubing included: Connects directly to compatible TraumaSim systems.
- Compatible with ETT, Lifecast Arm, and Junctional Simulator: Covers the primary TraumaSim pressurised training systems.
- Maintains reactive occlusion feedback integrity: Consistent pump pressure is essential for the ETT's reactive arterial bleed simulation — the training outcome that distinguishes the ETT from other tourniquet training platforms.
- Note: Component colours may vary depending on stock availability.
- Emergency Tourniquet Trainer — ETT001
- Haemorrhage Control Simulator Lifecast Arm — HCS01
- Haemorrhage Control Simulator Junctional — HCS00
When should I replace my pressure pump?
Replace the pump when it no longer maintains consistent pressure during training — typically experienced as inconsistent bleeding simulation, difficulty building pressure, or pressure that drops rapidly during a session. These are indicators of seal degradation from extended use. Replacing the pump before performance becomes noticeably inconsistent ensures training outcomes remain reliable.
Is this the same pump supplied with new TraumaSim systems?
Yes. This is the same 5 litre manual pressure pump — same capacity, same 8mm flow control tap, same pressure specification — supplied as a direct replacement for the pump included with new ETT, Lifecast Arm, and Junctional Simulator systems.
Is it compatible with the ETT Set of 4?
Yes. The ETT Set of 4 uses a single pump distributed across all four units via the included adapter set. A replacement pump using the same distribution system restores full four-unit operation. The adapter set from your existing kit is reused — only the pump itself is being replaced.
Does it come ready to connect?
Yes. The 8mm flow control tap and tubing are pre-attached — connect directly to your existing TraumaSim system following the user guide for your specific product.
Will the colour match my existing pump?
Component colours may vary depending on stock availability. Colour variation does not affect function or compatibility.
What are the dimensions and weight?
The pump measures 43 cm x 30 cm x 20 cm and weighs 1 kg.
Who should I contact if I'm unsure whether this component is compatible with my system?
Contact TacMed Australia before ordering and we'll confirm compatibility with your specific TraumaSim system configuration.
