The TraumaSim TraumaWear – Open Fracture Forearm is a high-fidelity wearable training aid designed to replicate a realistic open forearm fracture for trauma, emergency response, first aid and casualty simulation.

Manufactured from durable, life-like silicone, the TraumaWear is designed as a rapid pull-on forearm application, allowing trainers to quickly prepare role players or selected manikins for repeated training scenarios.

Available in standard and bleeding variants, both versions feature a realistic exposed fracture presentation suitable for scenarios involving falls, crush injuries, vehicle accidents, machinery incidents, workplace trauma, sporting injuries and emergency response.

The standard Open Fracture Forearm supports learner assessment, wound dressing, fracture management, immobilisation, pain response and patient care.

The Bleeding variant adds an integrated bleeding tube and included 20ml syringe, allowing trainers or role players to activate a controlled bleeding effect during the scenario. This version also supports haemorrhage control training alongside wound dressing and fracture management.

For additional realism, the TraumaWear can be complemented with moulage materials such as Fresh Scab, Stage Blood and professional makeup products. Clothing can also be cut, torn or positioned to reflect the mechanism of injury and improve scenario immersion.

All TraumaSim TraumaWear products are washable and reusable, supporting repeated rapid application in high-volume training environments.
