The TrueClot Inguinal Packing Trainer is a specialised training tool designed to simulate a junctional haemorrhage—an injury that cannot be controlled with a tourniquet. This wearable device allows trainees to practise critical wound packing skills in a realistic and hands-on environment.
It features a large gunshot wound cavity that accommodates a full 12 ft x 3 in strip of simulated hemostatic dressing. The trainer can be worn by an actor or placed on a manikin for added realism, with simulated blood pumped through the wound for effective training in haemorrhage control. When placed on a manikin, a junctional tourniquet can also be applied for a complete trauma care simulation.
Designed for the right-side inguinal area, it can be worn under or over clothing and is compatible with TrueClot Blood Simulant and Simulated Hemostatic Gauze to enhance training realism.
