For users not wearing body armour, the AFAK can be mounted to a MOLLE-compatible belt, providing effective self-aid capability in low-profile environments. The internal insert is removable and can be secured via lanyard for secure retention, even when positioned on the lower back.
An external MOLLE panel expands gear capacity, while the fully adaptive tourniquet strap system allows ambidextrous access from either side—whether mounted horizontally or vertically.
