Where the TAC6R is built for compact carry, the TAC7R is built for maximum operational capability. The Mode Select Ring gives you fast access to Flash, RGB, Mission, and transport lock modes without cycling through functions under pressure. Combined with the tactical end cap switch, you can move between configurations instantly — in the dark, in gloves, in a vehicle.
The addition of red, green, and blue light options extends the TAC7R into situations requiring light discipline — red for preserving night vision, green for reading maps or terrain, blue for forensic or scene assessment applications.
Multi-Lens Technology lets you select a combined flood and spotlight for tactical operations, or switch independently to a wide floodlight or focused spotlight as the situation demands.

What is the difference between the TAC7R and the TAC6R?
The TAC7R is the larger, higher-output model. It produces up to 3200 lumens versus the TAC6R's 2000, runs on a 2x21700 battery (larger capacity than the TAC6R's 18650), and adds RGB light options and a Mode Select Ring for fast mode switching. If you need maximum output and the most operational flexibility, the TAC7R is the right choice. If compact carry is the priority, the TAC6R covers most use cases at a lower weight.
What is the difference between the TAC7R Tactical Torch and the TAC7R Outdoor Set?
The standard TAC7R includes the torch, 2x21700 rechargeable battery, Pouch Type G, charging cable, and adjustable hand strap. The Outdoor Set adds a Universal Mounting System, Picatinny Rail Mount A, Remote Switch Type I, Colour Filter Set (35.1mm), and a hard Case Type B. The Outdoor Set is the better option if you need weapon or vehicle mounting, or want a complete deployment-ready kit.
What are the RGB light options used for?
Red light preserves night vision — useful for navigation and low-light operations where you need to maintain dark adaptation. Green is well-suited to map reading and terrain assessment. Blue has applications in forensic examination and scene assessment. All three are accessible via the Mode Select Ring without cycling through other functions.
What battery does the TAC7R use?
The TAC7R uses a 2x21700 Li-Ion rechargeable battery, charged directly via USB-C. Batteries and a charging cable are included. No separate charging dock is required.
