The TrueClot Through-and-Through (TnT) Bleeding Control Task Trainer is a realistic, reusable training aid designed for wound packing, XSTAT injectable haemostatic sponge training and haemostat clamping techniques.
The trainer features realistic entry and exit gunshot wounds, a visible bleeding vessel and an internal bony landmark to support practical bleeding control training.
When used with TrueClot Blood Simulant and Simulated Hemostatic Gauze, the trainer can produce realistic simulated blood clots during wound packing exercises. The wound model can also be used for XSTAT injectable haemostatic system training with simulated sponges.
The visible bleeding vessel can be clamped using a haemostat or other forceps to stop blood flow, allowing learners to practise an additional method of bleeding control in a controlled training environment.
Constructed from durable silicone, the trainer is designed for repeated use and can be cleaned with water and left to air dry.
