Simulation Hub — Simulation as a Service

Capability
Without
Capital
Outlay.

High-fidelity simulation delivered as a managed service. Access the platforms, the technicians and the operational expertise without the acquisition burden.

The Proposition

High-fidelity simulation capability shouldn’t be limited to organisations with the budget to own and operate the platforms.

Capital acquisition is one barrier. Technical operation is another. Running a high-fidelity simulator effectively requires platform expertise, scenario control and the operational headspace to focus on delivery — not troubleshooting.

TacMed Simulation as a Service removes both barriers. Access the platforms, the technicians and the operational expertise on a per-engagement basis, scoped to your training cycle and delivered by certified Australian-based Simulation Operators.

Service Models

Three
Service
Models

Most organisations come to us missing one piece of the simulation equation — the platforms, the operator, or the bandwidth to run both. The Simulation Operator capability and the platform inventory are ours to bring; the engagement structure is yours to define.

Model One
Simulation as a Service

Fully managed, turn-key simulation delivery. TacMed provides the simulator, the SIM-TECH and the operational support for the duration of your training program. Your instructors stay focused on directing the training — not running the equipment.

Simulator supplied for the engagement
Pre-engagement scenario alignment with your team
Simulation Operator on-site for setup, operation and pack-down
Simulator moulage
Scenario control and casualty progression managed
Best Suited To
Organisations without internal platform expertise, or units running periodic high-intensity training where instructor focus is the priority.
Model Two
Operator as a service

You own the platforms — TacMed provides the Simulation Operator. Our operator runs your simulators during your training, freeing your instructors to lead delivery and your medics to focus on intervention rather than equipment management.

Pre-engagement scenario alignment with your team
Simulation Operator on-site for setup, operation and pack-down
Simulator moulage
Scenario control and casualty progression managed
Best Suited To
Organisations with established simulator inventory who want operational expertise on the day — without diverting internal staff to run the equipment.
Model Three
Simulator Rental

TacMed delivers the simulator to your site, sets it up and trains your designated operators on day one. Your team then runs the platform independently for the rest of the engagement, with TacMed collecting on completion.

Pre-engagement scenario alignment with your team
Simulator delivered and set up by Simulation Operator
Operator training included on day one
Best Suited To
Teams with in-house capacity to operate the simulator after initial training — a more cost-effective option for longer engagements.
SIM-TECH Capability

Australian-Based.
Certified.
Operationally Grounded.

Every TacMed Simulation as a Service engagement is delivered by a Simulation Operator certified on the platforms in use — accredited through TacMed’s manufacturer partnerships.

Simulator Expertise

Simulation Operators are accredited on each platform by the simulator manufacturers themselves, ensuring the highest level of expertise.

Operational Medic Backgrounds

Many of our Simulation Operators hold operational backgrounds in special operations medicine and pre-hospital trauma care — bringing structured scenario design, casualty progressions and escalation sequencing to every engagement.

Global Expertise, Local Delivery

TacMed’s manufacturer partnerships give us access to an international network of platform specialists. Where engagements benefit from direct manufacturer involvement, that expertise is available.

Training Contexts

Where Service
Delivery Fits

Simulation as a Service can be incorporated across a range of training contexts — from compact skills stations through to full mission profile exercises. Engagement scope is built around your training cycle, not the other way around.

01
Skills Stations & Refreshers

Hands-on intervention training integrated into formal courses or unit refreshers. Covers critical skills including haemorrhage control, airway management and trauma assessment under realistic conditions.

02
Scenario-Based Training

Structured casualty scenarios that place trainees under realistic time and decision-making pressure. Simulation Operators control progression, escalation and casualty response in real time.

03
Multi-Disciplinary Exercises

Joint training events involving multiple agencies — building shared protocols and interoperability across responders, supporting personnel and clinical handover teams.

04
Full Mission Profile Scenarios

End-to-end training events that replicate operational conditions from point of injury through to handover of care. Longer engagements with multiple casualty progressions across the exercise.
