About TacMed Medical Services

Australia's Specialist Provider Of Deployable Medical Support

TacMed Medical Services is an Australian veteran-owned provider of on-site and deployable medical support for organisations operating complex, high-risk projects — across defence, resources, offshore, major productions, aeromedical, maritime, and disaster response.

From a single clinician on a short-notice brief to fully governed clinical teams on extended, multi-site deployments, we scale to the job — the same clinical standard whether it's one person or one hundred.

Every clinician is credentialled through TacMed's own governance framework before deployment — not sourced through a staffing agency.

The Range Of Work We Take On

Single
To
Systems

The same clinical governance, workforce continuity, and operational reliability applies whether the job is a single medic or a multi-site emergency response system. We scale to the job — not the other way around.

01 — Single & Specialist
One Clinician, Full Standard

A single credentialled medic on a film set. Event and mass-gathering cover. Short-notice, bespoke briefs where the job is small but the execution has to be exact — the same clinical standard as our largest contract, scaled to one.

02 — Embedded & Ongoing
Site-Based Clinical Teams

Site-based teams on remote resources, construction, and infrastructure projects. FIFO and rotational rosters, controlled medication management, and clinical governance held steady across weeks or months on site.

03 — Large & Complex
Full Response Systems

Multi-site operations and full emergency response systems across defence, government, and resources. Clinical autonomy and governance, aeromedical and SAR capability, controlled medicines, and formal reporting, coordinated at scale.

What We Provide

A Complete Medical Capability

Services combined and scaled to your environment, workforce, risk profile, and compliance requirements.

01
Service
Medical Personnel

Credentialled paramedics, nurses, and doctors deployed across every sector — including tactical, rescue, and special-operations-experienced clinicians. Credentialled in-house, not agency-sourced.

02
Service
Clinical Governance

A complete governance framework — CPGs, DTPs, medication authority, and Medical Director oversight — that can wrap around your own on-site clinical team, not just ours. Many providers aren't licensed to offer this.

03
Service
Retrieval & Repatriation

Planning and delivery of patient retrieval and repatriation — road, aeromedical, and remote extraction — including escalation pathways and long-distance transfer back to definitive care.

04
Service
Vehicle Hire

Medically equipped vehicles for hire — 4WD emergency response vehicles and ambulances configured for on-site and remote operations. Crewed with TacMed clinicians or as standalone assets.

05
Service
Consulting

Site medical risk assessments, medical emergency response planning, medevac and escalation planning, and independent reviews of existing arrangements. The right capability designed for your project.

06
Service
Equipment Supply & Management

Supply, setup, and ongoing management of medical equipment and consumables — trauma and resus kits, monitors, oxygen, and deployable clinic infrastructure, including restock and servicing.

How We Engage

From Enquiry → To On-Site

Every project is different, but the way we approach a new engagement is consistent.

01
Stage One
Initial Enquiry

Tell us about your project — environment, duration, workforce size, and known risks.

02
Stage Two
Needs Assessment

We assess the right level of coverage — clinician type, equipment, governance, and escalation pathways.

03
Stage Three
Proposal

A tailored written proposal covering scope, personnel, equipment, governance, and pricing. No generic packages.

04
Stage Four
Mobilisation

Credentialling, equipment preparation, regulatory authorisations, and site induction coordination.

05
Stage Five
On-Site & Reporting

Your clinician on-site under TacMed governance, with regular reporting throughout the project lifecycle.

Frequently Asked

Questions

A significant difference. TacMed paramedics are qualified health professionals with advanced clinical training including airway management, drug administration, and advanced life support. First aiders can manage minor incidents, but they're not equipped for serious trauma, cardiac events, or critical illness.

For planned projects, we recommend 2–4 weeks to complete credentialling, equipment preparation, and regulatory authorisations properly. For short-notice requirements, our pool of 140+ credentialled clinicians means we can often mobilise within 48–72 hours.

Every TacMed clinician operates under Clinical Practice Guidelines and Drug Therapy Protocols authorised by our Medical Director and Emergency Physician. Every clinical decision is documented, defensible, and aligned with best practice — reducing your organisation's liability and meeting duty-of-care obligations.

Yes. TacMed has provided medical support for international productions in remote international locations, with experience navigating foreign medical regulatory requirements, local clinical partnerships, and the demands of large international productions.
